hello i think use one 18" driver
eighteen sound 18lw1400
or
someting like that
i need from this box :
frequency 20Hz up to 100Hz
i use for black hip-hop
and powered with biema pa600
i need also that size in width 600 mm.
i use in big room chamber
and little times outdoor
i have 2 speaker box oberton S122 and give me with max about 123db/m

i use bass box pro with this plan and give me this
from 50Hz up to 270Hz give me 0db volume
-3db = 44Hz
and for my favourite 20Hz = -28db
and cone displacement 21.4mm for 20Hz
speaker give me Xmax = +-9mm
i love lil jon , eminem , three 6 mafia ,dmx ,metallica,rammstein
and many more)))

this is the best that this speaker can do

you will not reach 20Hz with this speaker in any box smaller than a van

I really doubt that those melodies can reach lower than 35 Hz

so this subwoofer should be perfect for ypur needs

rememeber that you cannot sense the diference lower than 3 dB in SPL

so @ -6dB you can reach down to about 35 Hz, which is just fine :wink:

Be carefull with those loudspeakers, you can damage them very easy, if you use the wrong amplifier, I mean to much power. These loudspeakers have a good bass reproduction but I would recomand a Peavey enclosure..for about the same money :wink:
